SKALA GUIDE

    Guide / Basics

    Set leave and public holidays

Record your leave and the public holidays you observe before planning task deadlines. Skala can then warn you when a due date falls on a day you are away and suggest an available working day instead.

    1

    Open Calendar settings

Select your name in the top-right corner, then Settings. Select Calendar in the Settings sidebar.

    2

Choose the public holidays you observe

Under Public Holidays, select your country. Review the holiday list and switch off any days you do not observe, including regional holidays that do not apply to you.

    3

    Add any missing holidays (optional)

Under Custom Statutory or other Annual Holidays, enter the date and Holiday name, then select + to add it. Use this for observance days missing from the public list.

    4

    Record your leave

Under Leave Days, enter the Start Date and End Date, add a reason if useful, then select Add. For one day away, use the same start and end date. Leave days appear greyed out on your calendar.

Keep this list current. If your leave dates change, use the X beside the old leave entry to remove it, confirm the removal, then add the revised dates.
