Your Organization
Set up your organization to increase features you can use to collaborate with colleagues.
Open Organization settings
Select your name in the top-right corner, then select Settings.
Select Organization in the Settings sidebar.
Join an existing organization or create a new one
First, check whether your organization already uses Skala. If you are unsure, ask your IT manager before creating anything.
If your organization already uses Skala: ask your IT manager or an organization admin to invite you. Open the invitation email and follow its link, signing in with the account that received the invitation. Do not create another organization. If you are already a member, no invitation is needed. You can stop here unless you are responsible for managing members or billing.
If your organization does not yet use Skala and you are authorized to set it up: select Create Organization and complete the form.
Invite team members (owners and admins)
Open Members, then select Add member. Only owners and admins can invite people.
Enter the email addresses of the colleagues you want to invite, separated by commas. Choose a role for this group, then press Enter to add them to the invitation list. Repeat if you need to invite another group with a different role. When the list is ready, select Send invites. Each person joins by following the link in their invitation email.
Set up centralized billing (optional, owners only)
Use centralized billing if you want the organization to manage plans and billing for its members. This requires a Pro or Business plan. If you do not need it, skip this step. Otherwise, as the organization owner, open Settings > Organization, expand your organization and select Plan and Billing.
Scroll to Centralized Billing. If it is already enabled, no further action is needed. If it is not enabled, select Enable Centralized Billing. If Skala shows that a plan upgrade is required, upgrade before enabling it.
